An inherited old Swedish cittra from the late 1800s or early 1900s, captured in the Shaper's workshop. A perfect introduction to the album.
Comment:
"No one alive knows for sure how old it is. Several deep cracks threaten the integrity of the instrument that was covered in cobweb when it was found. I decided to record it to see what would happen when I plucked the strings that have not been changed for at least a century. When listening back to the recordings there's resonances and sounds ... that should not be there. Buzzing whispers and hidden overtones escaping from the old blackened wood."
Old school Death Metal in its purest form. Thanks to Transcending Obscurity for this little gem. Found it on Bandcamp Friday. The clean singing part in „Rot of Ages“ is epic - i did not expecting this. Highly recommended for everyone who loves old school Death Metal! Sælzer Bub
Heaviest thing I’ve heard all year along with Altarage. Okay I’ve been listening to this record for the past two weeks and it just gets better and better. Dissonant grooves galore Jacob Ballance
